SOCET SET® License Request

To request a license, please complete and submit the form below (as many fields as possible, at a minimum name and email)or contact us at 1-800-316-9643 or (703) 668-4385 or via email: vipsupport@baesystems.com.

Note: License key requests can take up to three business days for completion.

To find the hostid of the system that will run SOCET SET, DataThruWay or ClearFlite:

  • UNIX
    1. Install the GXP License Manager – the default location is /opt/GXPLicMgr
    2. cd /opt/GXPLicMgr
    3. run ./socetset_hostid
      This should return something similar to the following:

      ./socetset_hostid

      Locking Code 1 : 1-2590D
  • Windows
    • This is the code written on the "dongle" that plugs in to the parallel port, or go to Start > Programs > GXP License Manager > SOCET SET Host ID. For new installations we will mail out a new dongle.
