Image analysis capabilitiesSOCET GXP establishes the union of image analysis and geospatial production in one applicationImage analysis and geospatial production workflows are becoming integrated. Image analysts need the capability to extract accurate geospatial information, while geospatial analysts require additional analysis resources and increased ease of use. BAE Systems has listened to users who must learn multiple applications to complete their tasks; SOCET GXP was built to address these issues. Now, image analysts, photogrammetrists, and cartographers alike are using one integrated application to analyze imagery, manage geospatial information, and build GEOINT and mapping products. The software can ingest imagery from an unprecedented number of satellite and tactical image sources, providing the means to quickly locate, identify, and analyze ground features. It enables analysts to automatically measure and document geometric properties such as scale, elevation, latitude, and longitude, and perform before-and-after site comparisons or monitor changes over time. Moreover, with a direct link to the ESRI® geodatabase and Google Earth™, SOCET GXP provides access to the most accurate geospatial data for intelligence analysis. Finished products can be used to establish evacuation routes, locate helicopter landing zones, and plan troop maneuvers. All of the tools needed for intelligence reporting and mission planning are at your fingertips. |
Geospatial analysis capabilitiesSOCET GXP offers automated functionality that simplifies complex geospatial production workflowsGeospatial analysis and production have never been easier. Built-in shortcuts and pushbutton functionality shorten workflows that previously required proficiency with as many as six specialized software packages to complete a single task. SOCET GXP represents a milestone in software development. Its exceptional analysis and processing capabilities, based on smart algorithms, make it ubiquitous from a functionality and enterprise resource planning perspective. In SOCET GXP, traditional menus and toolbars are replaced with tabs that display commands relevant to each task. Contextual tabs appear when needed, revealing expanded capabilities and advanced functionality. Features are never turned off or hidden by default. SOCET GXP is easy to learn and use, and as it evolves and fresh functionality is developed, new tools can be added without crowding the workspace or draining system resources. From detecting pipeline leaks to managing natural resources, and mapping Mars, SOCET GXP is the only tool you need to ingest and process data from a variety of image sources and create products that can be compressed, saved in multiple formats, and shared over secure networks. |
